Box Office

This is the Midland Theatre's Box Office, obviously not in use today.   I displayed the Midland Theatre last week, the one with the grand window.   I remember waiting at similar box offices, seeing these always brings back fond memories.

oh wow....they really knew how to build with such elegance way back when....this is so much better than the theaters in the mall!

It does bring back memories. When I was a teenager, all the theaters in town had box offices like this.

glad they kept the box, even though it's no longer in use.

It is fine architecture, Regina. So much better than at those 20-screen monstrosities.

Work was so cheap in those days. No one could afford to pay for such a beauty today!

Very classic looking box office.

This reminds me of an old theater back where I'm from. They now use it for concerts and dance contests, or ballet...but all in all still a great place to take the family.

I love the fact that some places still hang on to the nostalgia.
