Weekend Reflection - Down on Mainstreet

And sometimes even now,
when I'm feeling lonely and beat
I drift back in time and I find my feet
Down on Mainstreet

Weekend Reflection

Lots going on in this photo but I liked it...  I was trying for those wonderful hanging crystal like light fixtures inside this shop and ended up with much more.  Taken in the Power & Light District.

Taking part in weekend reflections, to see more visit James here.

Weekend Reflection

Two photos today, one has a reflected Charlie Parker that I displayed earlier this week and Charlie is in the background of the other.  I sure hope everyone is safe from yesterday's outbreak of tornadoes in the south.  To see other weekend reflections click here.

Weekend Reflection

This was one of the Holiday Windows I showed last month here  On the floor of this window display were tile mirrors.  When I first looked at this photo, I wasn't sure about it but when looking back I found I liked it.

Weekend Reflection

A window display on Main Street in the Power and Light District.  The tree had ornaments of stars and stick people made out of newspaper.  The reflection consumes the tree but I liked how the Harvester Food Donation barrel held it's own.  I will be on the road traveling all day and will not be able to visit your blogs but will catch back up tomorrow.  I wish everyone has a Merry weekend.

I am participating in Weekend Reflection, for more weekend reflections visit Weekend Reflections .

Weekend Reflection

While in the Power and Lights District, actually right across the street from the Midland Theater which I showed you yesterday, I found the shapes of these reflected buildings fun.  I also like how there is a reflection toward the bottom of the photo from an atrium.

Weekend Reflection

The alley I drove down for the Alley Art (I displayed on Wed.) brought me to these doors.  I didn't realized I picked up the reflection until I uploaded the photos.  I just wish the electrical conduit wasn't right next to the door.  Oh well, I still like the door and reflectioned under the bridge.  Found in the Crossroads District.

Weekend Reflection - Main Street

The all glass building is the HR Block building, which is relatively new to downtown and very striking in the skyline.  Cosentino's Market is a very fun and good gourmet market for all the downtown city dwellers.  The tall reflected building is the Power and Light building, wish I had realize what I was capturing in this photo and gotten a better reflection of this wonderful old building.  Sometimes while I am sitting at stop lights I just shoot (never fails that the light turns green in the middle of my shot).
