Muehlebach Hotel Light

The historic Muehlebach Hotel in downtown Kansas City was built in 1915.  It was visited by every President from Theodore Roosevelt to Ronald Reagan.  This is now one of three wings of the Marriott Downtown and looks to serve as a banquet area.  No one was in the area when I walked in last week.

Does anyone know the theme for April?

We need to spread the word, I'm posting about it tomorrow.

That is the grandest ceiling rose I have ever seen, I bet the light had been changed sine Roosevelt's visit, i reckon it used to be a chandaliere, I probably spelt that wrong but you know what I mean. Great Picture though.

Thanks for the info on the April theme. I keep wondering where CDP went but I hppe they come back at some point. I had only just gotten on it and it's how I found everyone's blogs! Good shot today; that place looks very cool!
