Favorite Bookstore

A cozy place to browse a book in my favorite independent bookstore, Rainy Day Books.  I have attended many good author events put on by this fabulous bookstore, most recently Walter Isaacson's discussion of Steve Jobs.  I always follow their staff picks and indie list for my next great read.

Independent bookshops are the best (or should I say were the best considering how few are left unfortunately?) That's lovely!

Look a good place to seek out some new reading, or perhaps to catch up on an old favourite long almost forgotten.

what a great spot to sit and read...this is just so much better than those big chains.

I love a good independent bookstore. My favorite is in Denver. I would love to see this one.

This looks like a winner, Regina. Comfy chairs! I saw Isaacson talk about Jobs on Sixty Minutes and I read the Jobs book, and two years ago I saw Isaacson give a lecture about Ben Franklin. He is a strong researcher and writer, as well as a good speaker.

Those of us who have a superb local bookstore are truly blessed. I have one in Jackson, Mississippi, Lemuria Books, and one in Portland, Oregon, Powell's Books.
