Fountain

This is the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fountain.  I displayed a photo while the fountain was under repairs last November.  This fountain is a favorite place for the homeless.  See how many you find in the below photo.

Very very nice fountain. You see so many more homeless this time of year.

Great fountain. Unfortuantely that's one thing I've noticed on visiting the US, many more homeless people. Although we do have homeless people I think Europe has more of a 'safety net' so you see less people sleeping rough.

Wonderful fountain! It's hard to see people sleeping rough - there are so many reasons for it that seem to be beyond society's ability to help.

Looks a beautiful place for some solitude.

It is a wonderful fountain, Regina. I am trying to figure out any symbolism relating to Vietnam, but so far I have not come up with any. Yes, it is sad that there are so many homeless, but at least on this day they had warm sun and a blue sky above them.
