One of things I love about KC is weather and watching storms come across the sky. This was the sky on my way home yesterday. We usually see the storms approach from the west. East of this photo the blue skies were fading away. We had rain off and on through out the day with a quick break out of blue skies and then as you see rain last night. Next week we are expecting temps in the 80s and storms later in the week. With temps that high we could see severe weather when the storms approach. That is still a whole week away, who knows what will change.

I think stormy skies are beautiful. So much drama! I miss my midwest roots sometimes. Thunderstorms are comforting to me somehow. :)
That sky certainly looks threatening! I am not a big fan of thunderstorms - think I learned that from every dog that I have known.
