My favorite antique store in the River Market appears to have plenty of lamp shades. Actually this store has 2 floors and a basement full of antiques. You can usually find anything your heart desires in this antique mall.
This mades me think of a lamp store here in Phoenix. They don't have as big of a window but it is a brick building like this. They have antique lamps as well as new ones and they run a great lamp repair business. I've used them twice to fix a couple of old lamps I have.
This looks like my kind of place. While I was in Phoenix I went to one of my favorite place and came back with more than I left with. What are the prices like in you city?
I have been looking for some of those 50s multi-layer shades - have 2 but want more. Obviously this is the place to go - I guess it is a bit far to go for a shade!

These look like 1950s style shades. I was very glad to leave the 50s behind. I really can't understand why it has become fashionable again.
I'd have to stay out of here 'cause I already have too much stuff. Oh, shoot. I could just look. I know I could!
Love that display. I guess I would spend a lot of time in there! :-)
I like lamps because they give shape to the light we will receive.
