Early Morning at the KC Star Building

The home office of the Kansas City Star newspaper was built in 1911.  The new green glass building was featured in several posts in October.  Ernest Hemingway was a reporter at this building from Oct 1917 to April 1918.  I particularly like the details at the top of the brick and the light fixtures along this side.

William Rockhill Nelson founded the KC Star.  He is also responsible for developing the Art District as shown here and here.
