Taphophile Tragics - Huron Indian Cemetery

This would be an interesting cemetery to wander around.. and to think further on the injustices suffered.

Quite a history! Sounds like it might not be the greatest area for you to be wandering in.

The history of this graveyard is a very sobering story, Regina. Thank you for contributing it to Taphophile Tragics.

I wonder why it was called the Huron Indian Cemetery. I cannot find any reason for this in the story you link to. I wonder how many of the folks agitating for the development of the lands for gambling are native americans and how many are descended from europeans?

I enjoyed this little excursion in your First Peoples.
