A Late Honor of Veterans Day

I took these photos last week right before Veterans Day and then in my haste to schedule my post before I left town I forgot to schedule these photos for last Friday.  This is my belated Veteran's day post.  The city of Rosedale, Kansas honor their veterans lost in war with this monument.  Rosedale is one of the many suburbs of Kansas City.  I liked the photo with the tree to my right when on my camera, but once downloaded I liked the one below better.  I appreciate our veterans fighting for our freedom.

Very nice arch. I appreciate my freedom being fought for too but I sometimes question the notion of 'freedom'...

I missed your post yesterday, dunno why, love that sign!

Reminds me of something in Europe (not that I've ever been there or anything) ;)

I like the fall colors in this one.

Classical. I like the second shot better, too. When I try to rationalize why, it turns to muck.. I just like it better.
