Steamboat Arabia

The Steamboat Arabia Museum contains the largest collection of pre-civil war artifacts.  This sidewheel steamboat sank near the town of Parkville on September 5, 1856 and was discovered in 1988.  This museum is fun to visit to learn the history and discovery of the steamboat, see the paddle wheel and the contents of crates of shoes, bottles, dishware, medicine, silverware, pocket knives, guns, tools....
