Drum Room

I loved everything about this photo except that darn stop light.  Seems like lights always get in the way of my photos (I am such an amateur).  The Drum Room is in the Power and Light District opened in 1941.  The Marx Brothers, Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr, Glenn Miller and Patsy Cline among others have performed here.

The building has wonderful detailing. I can see a return visit during daytime. That is a powerful (ahem!) lineup of acts.

Lol @ Jack! You've got me humming some tunes now. And I know just how you feel about traffic lights getting in the way of our photographing!

It looks like a great venue. I know what you mean about things in the way in photos, I have the same problem! If only I could work out photoshop!

Great history of performers. I would love to have seen Patsy Cline!

I don't think the stoplight got in the way! It adds to the urban atmosphere of your location. I really like you night photo! But that's just my humble opinion.
Happy Sunday, Regina!
