Hydrageas grow so well in Kansas City. I've had this plant for several years and only received a couple of blooms on the back side of the plant that received the most sun. Last fall I transplanted this Lace Cap Hydrangea to a spot that had a little more morning sun and it has thanked me with abundant blooms. The blooms will look nice all summer.

Hydrangeas are arguably my favourite flowers, especially the blue ones. Pity they don't attract bees.
This is lovely, Regina. I see pink or blue or white. On my screen, this is looking like it has a tinge of violet. Pretty.
Wow! I'm glad you moved them. What pretty blooms. And the color is beautiful. Just a hint of purple in that pink. :)
Looks like you have many more buds to bloom into flowers. Some hydrangeas' color is determined by the amount of acidity in the soil. More acid, they turn blue. Less acid, they are pink. Mine, unfortunately, are white which I think is a different variety, but is still a great plant.
so pretty! i love hydrangeas, they remind me of my grandma...she had beautiful ones!
So lovely! and Pink....hydrangeas have that cottage feel.
I like the soft color.
