Sleeping Squirrel

As I was leaving the Sculpture Park I almost stepped on this squirrel snoozing in the park.  Enjoy a lazy Sunday.

    It looks like he's sunning himself all stretched out on a spring day. I didn't think squirrels felt comfortable enough to sleep so exposed to danger.

    I will refrain from suggesting that stepping on it would have been a proper fate for a squirrel . . . not my favorite animal.

    Unlike Jack, they are my favorite animal so I am happy that you just shot him with your camera. And what a great shot it is.

    I'm with Jack, not so fond of the squirrels.

    And my Sunday was very sad as the Jayhawks were not victorious. :(
