The home office of the Kansas City Star newspaper was built in 1911. The new green glass building was featured in several posts in October. Ernest Hemingway was a reporter at this building from Oct 1917 to April 1918. I particularly like the details at the top of the brick and the light fixtures along this side.
I can see Hemingway writing his first reports in this place. Lovely place, it has the essence of a time full of past stories.
