I was walking my dog at a local park yesterday, it was a cold, grey winter day, but no snow. Normally I don't take my camera with me when I head out to let my dog run, but I grabbed it yesterday so had to take a photo. Although we have had a very mild winter thus far, this is a typical winter day in KC.
beautiful shot! love the contrasts.
ReplyDeletewhat a pretty place to walk! we've had a mild winter too but you know we will get slammed with snow when it's time for spring lol
ReplyDeleteabout the font, that's when it's doing it, when i copy/paste...it didn't use to do that, just started yesterday...it frustrates me because i can't understand how to fix it and i don't like the font in today's post, it doesn't match, but oh well!
I love the way the trees look so spindly against the sky. Nice shot!
ReplyDeleteI love photos of big, old trees against the sky like that.
ReplyDeleteWe have those same grey skies here in eastern Iowa.
My husband and I were just talking about the fact that we don't miss the grey skies in the southwest. But when we have a day like that now...it is a treat!
ReplyDeleteNice pic!
Love this shot. I have two are three like this that I took when I visited my sister in Springfield. I love these old trees when they have leaves and when they don't.
ReplyDeleteRegina, a photographer I follow, Carl Weese, has a blog that is great . He has been attempting to photograph winter light. I see you have winter light in today's post. Good to carry that camera always.
ReplyDeleteI love winter trees with a gray background. These are beautiful. So happy you took your camera.
ReplyDeleteA wonderful shot Regina and I hope the dog had fun too!
ReplyDeletenice image though of the yellow fields and tall interesting tree despite the grey sky
ReplyDeleteLooks a bit like what we've had since the end of October, day in, day out. With about 6 exceptional days of sunshine...
ReplyDeleteIt was worth having your camera with you, wasn't it? This looks like Steffe's old tree, doubled.
