Walk and Wag

I was at the Walk and Wag event at Happy Rock Park last weekend.  This event benefits the Gladstone Animal Shelter.  Here you see anxious dogs ready to start the walk.  Notice the trees in the background still have redbuds in bloom.

    I forgot to mention that you are correct. The orange blossoms are from a prickly pear cactus.

    The dogs look like they are ready for some fun - they ate such social creatures so to walk en masse must be a great treat for them!
